These terms cover remnants bought on this site and slabs quoted by Compass Stoneworks.

Slabs

Quotes: Inquire about one stone or several in one request. We price by the slab or by the bundle. A bundle is usually 10 slabs and costs less per slab.
Holds: We hold slabs that are paid in full. Storage may be charged after six weeks.
Delivery: We ship slabs anywhere in the US. Freight is quoted with the slabs.

As-is: Every piece is sold as-is. The photo and the note list what we know, chips and fissures included.
Holds: Paying is the only hold. We can’t set a piece aside by phone or email.
Pickup: At our workshop, 1261 Meriden Rd #301, Wolcott, CT 06716. We set a time with you.
Loading: We load the piece for you. Bring a pickup truck or a van, and an A-frame for a large piece. A small piece can go on a pallet.
Delivery: We do not ship or deliver remnants. Pickup is at our workshop in Wolcott.
Sizes: Measured to ±½ in. Check your space before you buy.
Cutting: We can cut a piece to size and install it. Cutting is priced by the hour.
Refunds: Remnants are final sale. Check the piece when you collect it. If you decide it is not right for you, refuse it there and we refund your card. Once you take the piece, we do not refund or exchange it.
